we had gotten a bid to remove wallpaper and paint the girls' room for a few hundred dollars, so we went ahead with it.  as it turned out, there were four layers of wallpaper in that room, so it was not quite as small of a project as we'd hoped =p

early november 2015. part 1

the instant ice cream was pretty tasty, I have to say

a volunteer at sarett nature center showed us a snake, up close and personal

an attempted trip to grand mere, where we somehow missed the dunes and spent 10 minutes on this tiny strip of beach before hightailing it back through the park to beat the sunset =p next time, adult to child ratio might need to be adjusted ;-)

we went through a stage where it wasn't uncommon to find little dude asleep somewhere random come late afternoon
