roadtrip: mt. rushmore to redding, ca

the wall drug store was advertised for hundreds of miles in each direction, so we checked it out before dinner that night.  downtown wall is quite the tourist spot, with a boot shop, among other things, where the girls got matching souvenirs -

he needed some help down the steps, mostly due to slowness, but he did all 200+ steps up himself

our trailer had a bitty shower, but we usually used the campground facilities

 

major hailstorm in Nevada!  cars were sliding everywhere, so we pulled off to wait it out

 

over the mountains into california
