december was more or less divided into pre-christmas christmas activities and christmas ;-) we made tons of ornaments and decorations this year - suncatchers, gingerbread men, perler bead ornaments, paper chains and garlands.. not quite sure why i don't have pictures of the rest, but here are the suncatchers:

maybe because of our advent calendar, c really got into counting down till christmas. every day, she'd tell me, 'there are x more days till christmas!' i hope that she never loses that anticipation and comes to join it to the centuries-old longing: come, thou long expected Jesus!
