thanksgiving week! we stayed up late waiting for nai nai and ah gong:
and the next morning, we were awakened by little dude: 'lusee, IT'S SNOW!!!' ;-)

later that day, we braved the snow to have our first ever professional pictures done. our church set it up for directory pictures, but we were somewhat naively talked into buying a lot more, while little dude somehow escaped and made his way to the snow-covered outdoor playground by himself =p the pictures are pretty good though ;-)

that night ben braved the snow and ice to pick up uncle p and family from O'Hare, which ended up being a very long trip! we just managed to get the basement carpet installed (from the july flood) literally the day before. here are the cousins later in the morning:
