early september

found a few more from the Wisconsin trip -

hey, where are we going??

the guys

the TA sign - you'll have to ask ben the history of that.  best i can remember, it originated at a study group with this bunch of nerdy pre-meds who have all amazingly survived and become MDs ;-)

TA wives

we tried to visit a lighthouse the next morning, but it was rainy and windy

beautiful coastline though

little buddy's first day of kindergarten started out well:

unfortunately, shortly after this picture she was running out after me and away from me out around the school =p her teacher from last year even came out to help, but eventually one of the office staff had to walk her back in.  the next two weeks were full of tearful, clingy drop-offs, but then - miraculously - one day she said, 'that was more fun than i thought it would be!'  and we were good to go =)

we'd been driving by a sign for 'pick your own apples' since we moved in, but one day we noticed an 'open' sign had been added.  so we tried it out and picked bunches of fresh-off-the-tree honeycrisps - mmm!

making a break for it

gimme one of those!

daddy and the girls did most of the picking
