on our last full day in redding, we were blessed with an unforecasted clear morning. from uncle p's house, we picked up k and took the trail down to sundial bridge, seen in the distance below:

we had a yummy sushi dinner that night, and came back in the morning for a few last precious moments. and of course, some pictures =) uncle p took some great ones of the whole crew, including the one below:
we can't wait to see them again already! down to the golden gate bridge we went:

too bad I ended up with food poisoning the next day =p it was raining anyways, so we laid low back at nai nai's middle school friend's home. in the evening, we drove into san francisco to meet my cousin a and his fiancée. it was great to get to know them a bit more, and I was quite disappointed not to be able to enjoy the unusual and delicious indian food =p
after 9 full and memorable days of friends and family, it was back to Minnesota - at least for a few days!
