mar 2013: party!

it seemed prudent to have c's party a little early this year, so on the saturday before the big day, we congregated at a local italian ice shop.  all but one of her little friends were able to come, nai nai made the trip up from new jersey, and it was a gorgeous spring afternoon - it all added up to a rousing success =)  plus, the shop didn't charge us any extra for the space, and mommy didn't have to clean up, so thumbs up on that front too =)

the girls were infinitely amused by c and his balloon 'fred'

we made a pin the cherry on the sundae game.  the girls had a bit too much practice at home, it seems, since they both marched right up and stuck their cherries in the middle =p

even with all the excitement, a book is irresistable ;-)
