we finally had a chance to get together with my cousins a and m and their adopted son of more than a year, n. we converged from north and south on nai nai's house and enjoyed an afternoon and evening together. i'm so glad the girls got to meet their cousin before we move away again!

as an extra treat, two of my closest friends, a and y, from high school came down to see us! y just had her own baby boy, and it was such a privilege to celebrate new mommyhood with someone i met in fifth grade auditioning for orchestra with the same piece =)
what is that strange building all these pictures are taken in? that can't be our old house...
