friends in a foreign land

during our second week, we were thrilled to be able to visit with our friends who came over on the flight with us.  we took the metro up to danshui and had a blast in the indoor play area and mini water park in their relatives' building.  there were many big grins at the reunion =)

even the kids are supposed to wear a swimcap in taiwan, but they let us get away without them

what's better after a swim than some good hotpot? =)



it's not my lens - it really is steamy ;-)

the girls were quite enthused about the included caramel popcorn and ice cream
